The History of Frederiksberggade

The association BID Frederiksberggade

Strøget is Copenhagen’s main shopping street. Over the past centuries, the street has been a vital lifeline through the city – both commercially, culturally and in terms of traffic. An urban space where one comes to see and be seen. Now Frederiksberggade faces a future in which the beautification of the street will help to create new experiences, boost activities and spread a good atmosphere among visitors.

About the association BID
The association BID (Business Improvement District) was founded in 2019 by the property owners in Frederiksberggade. The aim of the BID project is to implement projects and activities in the street that will make it more attractive for both citizens, visitors, tenants and property owners.
